Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Critically ill adults aged =18 years. 2 Patients in the sepsis and sepsis-induced cardiac dysfunction groups met the Sepsis-3 diagnostic criteria.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Patients with incomplete medical records 2 Patients with pre-existing coronary artery disease or heart failure 3 Autoimmune diseases 4 Hematological disorders 5 Malignancies 6 Pregnant or lactating women
