Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Participants aged between 18 and 80 years, scheduled for gastroscopy under intravenous general anesthesia, able to understand and sign the informed consent form, and possessing complete clinical data were included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Pregnant or breastfeeding women; individuals with severe pulmonary dysfunction (defined as FEV1/FVC < 75%) or an oxygenation index < 80%; those with severe systemic diseases such as advanced cardiac, hepatic, renal disorders, or malignancies; patients with active respiratory tract infections; individuals with psychiatric disorders, cognitive impairments, or who were unable to care for themselves; and those with known allergies to sedative medications.
