Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Presence of gastric varices confirmed by endoscopy, classified as GOV2 or IGV1 according to national and international guidelines; 2. Presence of gastrorenal or splenorenal shunts confirmed by contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT); 3. High-risk gastric varices, active gastric variceal bleeding, or a history of gastric variceal hemorrhage; 4. Age between 18 and 80 years, inclusive;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of transjugular intrahepatic portosystemic shunt (TIPS), splenectomy with devascularization, balloon-occluded retrograde transvenous obliteration (BRTO), or liver transplantation; 2. Significant cardiopulmonary comorbidities; 3. Presence of hepatocellular carcinoma beyond the Milan criteria or other malignancies with a substantial impact on overall survival;
