Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Selection criteria for initial orthodontic diagnosis: 1. Adults without orthodontic treatment>=18 years old; 2. Permanent dentition, mandible except for the third molar without missing teeth, impacted teeth, or deformed teeth; 3. Mild to moderate crowding in the mandibular anterior region, no restorations, no dental lesions and apical lesions; 4. Periodontal health, no severe horizontal and vertical bone resorption; 5. No history of trauma or surgery in the anterior jaw area, and no other oral and maxillofacial lesions or deformities; 6. Complete medical records, informed about this study, and signed informed consent form. Inclusion criteria for the end of orthodontics: 1. Adult patients who have completed orthodontic treatment >=18 years old, and the first premolar of the mandibular is extracted, and the mandibular anterior teeth are adducted with the maximum anchorage; or non-extraction of the mandibular orthodontics; 2. No severe root resorption after orthodontic treatment; 3. Periodontal health, no severe horizontal and vertical bone resorption; No other oral and maxillofacial lesions or deformities; 4. Complete relevant medical records after orthodontic treatment, informed about this study, and signed informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria for initial orthodontic diagnosis: 1. Minor patients < age 18 years old; 2. Previous history of orthodontic treatment or sparse mandibular dentition; 3. Abnormal number of teeth or abnormal eruption in the lower anterior area; 4. Previous history of dental trauma in the mandibular anterior region or restoration in the mandibular anterior region, or mandibular apical cyst or jaw lesion; 5. Refusal to participate in this experiment or lack of medical record data or blurred CBCT images or defective clinical medical records. End of orthodontics Exclusion Criteria: 1. Adult patients who have not completed orthodontic treatment or have not met the end criteria and requested to end orthodontic treatment on their own; 2. Patients with mandibular asymmetric tooth extraction or non-extraction of bilateral first premolars; 3. Severe resorption of tooth root or obvious resorption of alveolar bone after orthodontic treatment; 4. Patients with orthodontic orthognathic combined treatment; 5. Blurred CBCT images or defective clinical medical records.
