Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 65 years; 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I–III; 3.Scheduled to undergo non-cardiac surgery under general anesthesia; 4.Expected duration of surgery >= 1 hour and postoperative hospital stay >= 2 days; 5.Able to communicate independently and cooperate with the oral care intervention; 6.Voluntarily agree to participate in the study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with a preoperative diagnosis of cognitive impairment or psychiatric disorders; 2.Patients scheduled to undergo cranial or neurosurgical procedures;Patients with a history of severe oral infection or who have undergone oral surgery; 3.Patients undergoing emergency surgery; 4.Patients who experience major intraoperative complications, such as massive hemorrhage, septic shock, or cardiac arrest.
