Spike test group:The patients were grouped based on the length of pedicle screws within the fractured vertebrae
Short nail test group:Use pedicle short screws in the fractured vertebrae

18 Years to 50 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Single-segment thoracolumbar spine fracture (T12 or L1); 2. Aged between 18 and 50 years old; 3. The duration of injury to surgery is within 2 weeks; 4. The degree of compression of the fractured vertebral body exceeds 1/3 or the local kyphosis angle exceeds 25°; 5. Regular follow-up for more than 1 year.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Polytrauma patients with multiple fractures; 2. Severe osteoporosis; 3. Neurological deficits requiring decompressive laminectomy; 4. Pathological fractures; 5. Loss to follow-up.
