Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age over 60 years old; 2. Normal renal function (creatinine <=133umo/L) before surgery; Diagnosis of esophageal cancer was made by CT diagnosis by senior imaging physician of Union Hospital of Fujian Medical University, and the diagnosis was determined by senior thoracic surgeon to reach the surgical indication, and accepted esophagectomy for esophageal cancer under general anesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. cases in which the patient had previous chronic renal failure (CRF) or required hemodialysis treatment; 2. conditions affecting Alb and Fib expression, e.g., hepatic dysfunction, coagulation/hematological dysfunction, etc.; 3. preoperative chemotherapy, secondary surgery, or emergency surgery; 4. death within 1 week of surgery; 5. previous renal transplant; 6. .missing clinical case information
