Age
18 Years to 80 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age greater than 18 years old; 2. Clinical diagnosis of chronic kidney disease stage 5, within 1 month of undergoing peritoneal dialysis placement, and not having received other renal replacement therapy previously; 3. Be able to live independently and have no daily physical activity restrictions; 4. Sign the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe cognitive dysfunction that prevents normal communication, i.e., a score of greater than 10 on the Brief Mental Status Scale; 2. Have been receiving peritoneal dialysis treatment for more than 1 month; 3. Patients who are chronically bedridden and require care dependency, or who are determined to be debilitated by the Clinical Frailty Scale (CFS >= 4/9); 4) Contraindications to cardiopulmonary exercise testing.
