Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged over 60 years, with BMI 18-30 kg/m^2; 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) Physical Status Class I-II, scheduled for elective painless gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Anticipated difficult airway (Mallampati class III-IV, mouth opening 35 kg/m^2); 2. Known allergy to nasal cannula materials; 3. Severe nasal obstruction due to deviated septum, nasal polyps, recent nasal surgery, or trauma (requiring preoperative evaluation); 4. Severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD, GOLD 3-4) or restrictive lung disease requiring long-term home oxygen therapy; 5. Baseline SpO2 1 month); 10. Use of any opioid medications within 24 hours preoperatively.
