Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age <=18 years; 2.The sepsis and HLH cohort meets the current sepsis diagnostic criteria of the respective hospital or the HLH diagnostic criteria outlined in HLH-2004. 3.The control group will include children with other infectious or immune-related diseases and healthy children undergoing physical examinations, matched by age and gender to the children with sepsis and HLH.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Diagnostic data missing. 2.Discharge outcomes unclear.
