Interventions

Control group:2% hydroquinone cream
Experimental group 2:Combined treatment with 2% hydroquinone cream and 755nm picosecond laser.
Experimental group 1:Triple therapy with 2% hydroquinone cream, 755nm picosecond laser, and poly-lactic acid microneedles.

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meet the diagnostic criteria of melasma in the "Expert Consensus on the Diagnosis and Treatment of Melasma in China (2021 Edition)"; 2. The study participant has not taken any treatment for melasma within 3 months before enrollment, and has stopped taking contraceptives for more than 3 months; 3. Age 18-60 years old, gender is not limited; 4. Inflammatory or infectious skin diseases such as acute eczema, herpes, and warts at the study site; 5. Willing to receive treatment, observation and various examinations, good compliance, and signed informed consent before enrollment. 6. Study participant agrees not to participate in other interventional studies during the treatment period.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Melasma is in the active phase; 2. Other facial pigmented skin diseases combined with the study site (such as brownish-blue nevus on the zygomatic area, nevus Ota, Riehl melanosis, etc.); 3. Secondary skin pigment abnormalities caused by anemia, jaundice, hyperthyroidism or hypothyroidism; 4. Previous history of allergy to hydroquinone cream or inability to tolerate the cream treatment; 5. Pregnant or lactating women; 6. Those who are positive for dermatographia, scarring, photosensitive or sensitive facial skin; 7. Those who cannot achieve strict sun protection during the study period; 8. Patients with heart, liver, kidney and other important organ diseases, infectious diseases or malignant tumors; 9. Any unstable situation or condition that may endanger the safety of the patient and his compliance with the study, such as intellectual disability, schizophrenia and other serious mental illnesses.
