Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 60 years old, gender not limited; 2.Patients who plan to undergo unilateral or bilateral total hip replacement surgery for the first time under general anesthesia, with no contraindications related to surgery or anesthesia; 3.Anesthesia method: inhalation anesthesia with halothane or sevoflurane; 4.Baseline cognitive function: preoperative Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score, illiterate>17 points; Primary school score>20 points; Junior high school and above score>24 points; 5.ASA anesthesia grade I-III; 6.The patient or their legal representative understands and signs the informed consent form, and is willing to cooperate in completing the postoperative follow-up examination;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.History of mental and neurological disorders: Suffering from schizophrenia, moderate to severe depression, Parkinson's disease, epilepsy with seizure records within the past year, and other diseases; 2.History of intestinal diseases: Previous history of inflammatory bowel disease, intestinal tumors, intestinal obstruction, intestinal diverticulitis, etc; 3.History of drug allergies: Allergies to isoflurane, sevoflurane, or routine medications during and after surgery; 4.Severe impairment of liver and kidney function: liver function indicators exceeding the upper limit of normal by more than twice, or kidney function indicators reaching stage 3 or above of chronic kidney disease; 5.Other major diseases: severe cardiovascular disease, uncontrolled diabetes, advanced malignant tumor, etc.
