Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Case group: From August 2025 to December 2026, 6 hospitals including Yijishan Hospital of Wannan Medical College, Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, Qingdao Women and Children's Medical Center, Wuhan Children's Hospital, Hubei Maternal and Child Health Hospital, and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Maternal and Child Health Hospital were selected to diagnose children with intussusception. The age range was set from 3 months to 36 months, and it is expected to include about 20 cases. Our center has about 10 cases (there have been 66 cases of intestinal microbiota sequencing data of children with intussusception in previous studies). Inclusion criteria: Clinical symptoms consistent with the presentation of intussusception, such as paroxysmal crying, vomiting, jam like bloody stools, etc., confirmed by ultrasound examination or air enema as intussusception, and no other complications such as severe congenital intestinal malformations. Control group: About 70 normal children who underwent physical examination in the pediatric health department of the hospital during the same period were matched with the case group in terms of age and gender.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Exclude children with digestive system diseases, recent use of antibiotics, or immune deficiencies that may affect gut microbiota.
