Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 10–19 years; 2. Patients with unilateral full-hand burns; 3. Burn depth of deep partial-thickness (deep II°) or greater; 4. Burn severity classified as: Mild (II° burns covering **<10% total body surface area [TBSA] or III° burns covering <1% TBSA) Moderate(II° burns covering 10%–29% TBSA, or III° burns covering 1%–9% TBSA); 5. Healed burn wounds (post-burn re-epithelialization achieved); 6. Poor pre-rehabilitation total active motion (TAM) assessment (TAM <180°); 7. Clear consciousness with no history of psychiatric disorders; 8. Informed consent obtained, with voluntary participation and signed agreement.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Concomitant hand injuries, including fractures, muscle/tendon tears, or nerve damage; 2. Congenital hand deformities(absence of digits, syndactyly); 3. Unstable medical conditions or systemic diseases impairing rehabilitation compliance; 4. VR intolerance or inability to cooperate with VR-based training; 5. Loss to follow-up during the study period; 6. Failure to meet clinical treatment requirements ( premature withdrawal, discontinuation of therapy/rehabilitation).
