Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children and adult patients diagnosed with severe alopecia areata based on clinical manifestations, hair pull test, dermoscopic examination, histopathological examination of lesional skin (if needed), necessary laboratory tests, SALT score, etc.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Androgenetic alopecia, seborrheic alopecia, trichotillomania, cicatricial alopecia, tinea capitis, syphilitic alopecia, anagen effluvium, telogen effluvium, congenital alopecia, etc.
