Postoperative pain after thoracoscopic surgery

Interventions

group L:Participants in the LB group will receive an ultrasound-guided paravertebral block on the surgical side using liposomal bupivacaine (133 mg/20 mL), with 10 mL administered at each of the T4 an
Group R:Participants in the R group will receive an ultrasound-guided paravertebral block on the surgical side using 0.5% ropivacaine, with 10 mL administered at each of the T4 and T6 vertebral levels

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age 18 to 90 years 2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-III 3. Written informed consent obtained

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Allergy to local anesthetics, NSAIDs, or opioid analgesics 2. Pre-existing chronic pain from thoracic/back surgery, coagulopathy, or psychiatric disorders 3. Ipsilateral thoracotomy history 4. Conversion to thoracotomy during procedure 5. Regular preoperative opioid use 6. Bilateral thoracic procedures
