Groups A:Group A underwent root canal retreatment using Re Treaty in rotary motion mode.
Groups B:Group B underwent retreatment with Re Treaty in reciprocating motion mode.
Groups C:Group C received retreatment using Reciproc Blue.

Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Clinical Evaluation Criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18-65 years, adult patients without systemic diseases. 2. Teeth requiring root canal retreatment: - Previous history of root canal treatment. - With or without occlusal discomfort. - Percussion tenderness (- or ±). - Restorative need. 3. Periodontal examination: - Normal probing depth. - Physiological mobility range. Radiographic Evaluation Criteria: Radiographic inclusion criteria: 1. Closed apex of permanent teeth. 2. Radiographic evidence of filling material within the root canal extending to the apical third. 3. Periapical Index (PAI) score of 0, 1, or 2 (no or minimal periapical pathology).
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Clinical Exclusion Criteria: 1. Patients with severe systemic diseases (e.g., severe progressive cardiac disease, Stage III hypertension, hypoglycemia, severe emphysema, active tuberculosis, poorly controlled diabetes mellitus, etc.) or those unable to cooperate. 2. Teeth in the acute inflammatory phase. 3. Affected teeth with gingival swelling or sinus tract. 4. Abnormal periodontal findings: - Periodontal pocket depth >4 mm. - Grade II or III mobility. 5. Patients who had taken analgesics within 12 hours or antibiotics within the past 2 weeks. Radiographic Exclusion Criteria: 1. Permanent teeth with open apex or apical resorption. 2. Internal/external root resorption or root canal calcification. 3. Periapical Index (PAI) score >=2 (indicating significant periapical pathology). 4. Alveolar bone resorption exceeding one-third of the root length.
