Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: The inclusion criteria were as follows:age 18-60, male or female; diagnosed with allergic rhinitis in the department of otorhinolaryngology and the course of the disease exceeds 1 year; in the acute attack phase of allergic rhinitis; nasal symptoms on Total Nasal Symptom Score (TNSS) score is greater than or equal to 4 points.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: The exclusion criteria included:history of nasal surgery; history of nasopharyngeal tumor, history of severe epistaxis, nasopharyngeal dysplasia; history of immunotherapy; acupuncture treatment within the last 2 years; lidocaine allergy, or betamethasone allergy; patients with history of psychosis; systemic infection, acute upper respiratory tract infection, ethmoid sinus infection, or skin infection at puncture site; bleeding tendency or coagulation abnormality; patients with severe liver and kidney dysfunction; pregnancy, lactation, and preparation for pregnancy.
