Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: (1) Young adults aged 20–40 years; older adults aged 60 years and above. (2) With an educational level of primary school or above. (3) Able to maintain independent standing for more than 8 minutes. (4) For healthy elderly people: Mini - Mental State Examination (MMSE) score >= 27, Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) score >= 27. (5) For MCI patients: MMSE scores: 18 - 26 for illiterate individuals, 21 - 26 for those with primary education, 23 - 26 for those with secondary education, and 24 - 26 for those with a college education. MoCA scores: 18 - 26 (add 1 point for those with an educational level below high - school). Meeting one of the following conditions: The scores of two neuropsychological tests in at least one cognitive domain are both lower than 1.0 standard deviation (SD). In each of the three major cognitive domains, the score of one neuropsychological test is lower than 1.0 SD. The score of the Social Functioning Activity Questionnaire is >= 9. (6) The subjects sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) History of neuropsychiatric diseases, such as cerebrovascular diseases, depression, schizophrenia, drug dependence, intractable epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, normal - pressure hydrocephalus, brain tumors, and craniocerebral trauma surgeries, etc. (2) Comorbidities that severely affect limb sensation or motor function, such as rheumatoid arthritis, lumbar disc herniation, limb trauma, severe skin damage, fractures, or peripheral neuropathy. (3) Those who have received drug or non - drug interventions for cognitive impairment recently. (4) Visual, vestibular, or proprioceptive disorders. (5) Presence of metal implants in the head.
