Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion Criteria for the Adolescent Mental Disorder with Non-Suicidal Self-Injurious Behavior Group Han Chinese; right-handed; male or female; age range of 12-25 years old; elementary school education and above; not having received any physical therapy including non-convulsive electroconvulsive therapy (NCT) during the 3 months prior to enrollment; meeting the diagnostic criteria for mental disorders in the DSM-5; and meeting the DSM-5 definition of NSSI behaviors (defined as behaviors of deliberate injury to one's own body tissues without suicidal ideation). NSSI behavior is defined by the DSM-5 as intentional injury to one's own body tissues without suicidal ideation; subjects who meet the criteria for NSSI behavior according to the DSM-5 definition of NSSI behavior (defined as intentional injury to one's own body tissues without suicidal ideation) will be collected with 5 or more NSSI behaviors in the 12 months prior to the MRI scan and biological sample collection; 2.Inclusion Criteria for the Adolescent Mental Disorder with suicidal behavior group Han nationality; right-handed; male and female; age range of 12-25 years; elementary school education and above; not receiving any physical therapy including convulsion-free electroconvulsive therapy (ECVT) in the 3 months prior to enrollment; meeting the diagnostic criteria for mental disorders in the DSM-5; and rooting in the definition of SA behaviors according to the DSM-5 (referring to intentional injuries of suicidal intent to (defined as intentional injury to one's own body tissues with suicidal ideation) Subjects who met the criteria for SA behavior were collected and had at least 1 SA behavior in the 24 months prior to the MRI scan and biospecimen collection. 3.Inclusion Criteria for the Adolescent Mental Disorder without Non-Suicidal Self-Injury and Suicidal Behavior Group Han Chinese; right-handed; male and female; age range of 12-25 years old; elementary school education and above; not having received any physical therapy including non-convulsive electroconvulsive therapy (NCTE) during the 3 months prior to enrollment; meeting the diagnostic criteria for mental disorders in the DSM-5; not having experienced NSSI behaviors according to the definition of NSSI behaviors in the DSM-5 (meaning behaviors of deliberate injury to one's own body tissue with no NSSI behavior according to the DSM-5 definition of NSSI behavior (intentional injury to one's own body tissues with suicidal ideation) did not occur in the 12 months prior to the MRI scan and biospecimen collection; SA behavior according to the DSM-5 definition of SA behavior (intentional injury to one's own body tissues with suicidal ideation) did not occur in the 24 months prior to the MRI scan and biospecimen collection; 4.Inclusion Criteria for Cdolescent Health Control Group Han Chinese; right-handed; male or female; age range 12-25 years; elementary school education or above; no history of neuropsychiatric illness or family history of psychiatric illness; no history of major traumatic experiences; no history of suicidal and self-injurious behaviors; no history of substance abuse or use of and dependence on psychoactive substances; and no major physical illnesses.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Exclusion Criteria for the Adolescent Mental Disorder with Non-Suicidal Self-Injurious Behavior Group Current or prior comorbid neurologic or other serious physical illness; patients with a history of epilepsy and severe trauma to the mind; pregnant or breastfeeding women, or planning to become pregnant; patients with contraindications to MRI scanning; patients less than 12 years of age or more than 25 years of age; 2.Adolescent Mental Disorder with Suicidal Behavior Group Current or past comorbid neurologic or other serious physical illness; patients with a history of epilepsy and severe trauma to the mind; pregnant or breastfeeding women, or planning to become pregnant; patients with contraindications to MRI scanning; patients less than 12 years of age or more than 25 years of age; 3.Adolescent Mental Disorder without Non-Suicidal Self-Injury and Suicidal Behavior Group Current or previous comorbid neurologic or other serious physical illness; patients with a history of epilepsy and a history of severe trauma to the mind; women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant; patients with contraindications to MRI scanning; patients less than 12 years of age or greater than 25 years of age; 4.Adolescent healthy controls with current or prior comorbid neurologic or other serious physical disease; patients with a history of epilepsy and a history of severe trauma to the mind; women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant; patients with contraindications to MRI scanning; patients younger than 12 years of age or older than 25 years of age;
