Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. age >= 18 years old 2. general anesthesia with tracheal intubation 3. perioperative thirst inappropriate scale score = 3 points 4. clear consciousness, no cognitive impairment, normal communication 5. Informed consent and volunteered to participate in this study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. unstable vital signs 2. patients with oral diseases, lip rupture and other taboo interventions 3. patients who were previously diagnosed with xerostomia 4. patients with diabetes, heart failure, etc.can cause thirst 5. long-term hemodialysis patients.
