Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1: Radiologically confirmed pneumothorax (chest X-ray/CT diagnosis) 2: Age >=16 years 3: Requiring thoracic drainage(as determined by treating physician) 4: Complete clinical data available for analysis

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1: Tension pneumothorax 2: Coagulopathy or bleeding disorders 3: Contraindications to the procedure 4: Incomplete medical records
