Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: (1) Aged 60 and above, in good health and able to walk independently; (2) No major cardiovascular disease, respiratory disease or orthopedic disease affecting exercise; (3) Did not participate in regular physical exercise in the past six months (less than 30 minutes of exercise three times a week); (4) No medications that may affect metabolism or the cardiovascular system.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Had a serious illness or physical disability (such as stroke, severe osteoporosis, etc.) that prevents them from participating in square dancing; (2) Had surgery or major medical treatment in the past three months; (3) had severe hypertension or cardiovascular disease and are unable to safely participate in moderate-intensity exercise; (4) Sleep disorder or circadian rhythm disorder, unable to do morning or evening exercise according to the study plan.
