Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Adults aged 60 years and older who are outpatient or inpatient; 2.No history of use of various microecological preparations and antibacterial drugs within 1 month; 3.No history of eating foods containing lactic acid bacteria (such as yogurt, cheese, kimchi, etc.) within 1 week; 4.Ability to cooperate with cognitive assessment without a definitive diagnosis of cognitive impairment; 5.Signed informed consent;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.History of previous gastrointestinal surgery or active gastrointestinal infection (of which appendicitis will not be enrolled within 1 year after surgery); 2.Patients with severe mental illness or vision, hearing and speech disorders, severe cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, malignant tumors, confusion, etc. that may affect the study results and cognitive assessment; 3.Patients with anticholinergic drugs, benzodiazepines, chemotherapy drugs, etc. that affect the assessment of cognitive impairment; 4.Underwent anesthesia surgery in the last 6 months; 5.Suspected patient with moderate to severe cognitive impairment and no guardian/surrogate or guardian/surrogate refusal to sign;
