18 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Aged between 18 and 70 years; 2.Meeting the diagnostic criteria for bronchial asthma as defined by the Guidelines for the Prevention and Management of Bronchial Asthma (2024 Edition), with a positive bronchodilator reversibility test or bronchial provocation test; 3.Underwent chest CT scan, complete blood count (CBC), and/or fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) testing. 4.Additional criteria for healthy controls: No history of chronic respiratory diseases; Normal pulmonary function and no history of smoking.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Presence of other confirmed pulmonary diseases, such as interstitial lung disease, lung cancer, pulmonary tuberculosis, cystic fibrosis, or bronchiectasis; 2.Known or suspected history of alcohol or drug abuse; 3.Coexisting severe cardiovascular, metabolic, neurological, hepatic, renal diseases, or psychiatric disorders; 4.Acute infection or systemic inflammation within 4 weeks prior to asthma diagnosis (defined as CRP >= 10 mg/L); 5.Pregnancy; 6.Incomplete pulmonary function testing or chest CT examination. 7.Additional exclusion criteria for healthy controls: History of chronic cough or sputum production lasting >= 3 months within the past year; History of allergic diseases (e.g., allergic rhinitis, eczema, etc.).
