Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Age 18 to 90 years old. The included patients all met the diagnostic criteria for acute myocardial infarction and underwent emergency PCI. The diagnostic criteria for acute myocardial infarction are based on the "Acute ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction Diagnosis and Treatment Guidelines" (2019 edition), which define acute myocardial infarction according to the fourth edition of the "Global Myocardial Infarction Definition" standard. Myocardial infarction is defined as acute myocardial injury, with an elevation and/or fall in serum cardiac troponin (cTn), with at least one value above the normal upper limit (99th percentile of the reference value), and clinical evidence of acute myocardial ischemia, including: (1) symptoms of acute myocardial ischemia; (2) new ischemic electrocardiogram changes; (3) new pathological Q waves; (4) new imaging evidence of viable myocardial loss or abnormal regional wall motion; (5) coronary angiography or intracoronary imaging or autopsy confirming coronary artery thrombosis.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: (1) Onset of symptoms exceeding 48 hours; (2) Patients who underwent thrombolysis followed by PCI, or those who only underwent angiography in emergency situations or elective PCI; (3) Patients with malignant tumors, severe liver or kidney dysfunction, severe valvular heart disease, or severe infections; (4) Patients with contraindications to antiplatelet or anticoagulant therapy, such as active gastrointestinal ulcers, severe coagulopathy, or bleeding disorders; (5) Patients allergic to contrast agents or surgical materials.
