Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: First-episode stroke, meeting diagnostic criteria for cerebral infarction or hemorrhage per the 4th National Cerebrovascular Conference; BDAE (Boston Diagnostic Aphasia Examination) severity = Grade 2; Aged 18–80 years; Disease duration >1 month; >= 6 years of formal education; Right-handed; Conscious, clinically stable, without severe cognitive impairment or pre-stroke speech disorders; Able to complete fNIRS exams and language assessments/therapies, with written informed consent from patient and family.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Language disorders caused by severe auditory/visual deficits or other peripheral sensory impairments; Comorbid epilepsy, severe cardiac/hepatic/renal dysfunction, or other major systemic diseases; Concurrent neurological disorders (e.g., Parkinson’s, motor neuron disease, Alzheimer’s); Impaired consciousness precluding assessments/treatment; History of psychiatric disorders; Intracranial metallic implants or electronic medical devices; Pre-existing language impairment before current stroke; Skull defects/cranial repairs compromising fNIRS signal acquisition; Inability to complete fNIRS and/or DTI scans.
