Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 18 years old; 2. Clinical diagnosis of sepsis or septic shock (qSOFA >= 2 points + suspected or confirmed infection, with or without hypotension or blood lactate > 2 mmol/L);
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with acute coronary syndrome, stroke, severe trauma, or pregnant/postpartum women; 2. Age < 18 years old ; 3. Acute exacerbation of congestive heart failure ; 4. Non-sepsis-related conditions causing significant volume loss, such as diabetic ketoacidosis, severe vomiting/diarrhea, heat stroke, or hyperosmolar coma ; 5. Pulmonary edema or fluid overload; 6. Patients who have opted to discontinue treatment;
