18 Years to 80 Years
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Adults aged 18 to 80 years with CTS diagnosed by: (1) numbness, pain, or sensory loss in the median nerve distribution; (2) nocturnal symptom worsening or awakening; (3) thenar atrophy; (4) positive Phalen, Tinel, or compression test; and (5) median nerve injury confirmed by electromyography. Symptoms must persist >= 3 months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: (1) Prior CTS surgery or injection; (2) Coexisting brachial plexopathy or thoracic outlet syndrome; (3) Severe comorbidities (e.g., diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis); or wrist infection.
