Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Officially retired faculty members of Hunan Normal University; 2. Date of birth between October 1, 1959 and September 30, 1961, or between October 1, 1962 and September 30, 1964; 3. Cases are individuals with physician-diagnosed cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension, coronary heart disease, and cerebrovascular disease; controls are individuals without any of these conditions.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Faculty members who are unable to provide informed consent; 2. Individuals diagnosed with psychiatric disorders (e.g., schizophrenia, bipolar disorder) or with documented cognitive impairments (e.g., Alzheimer's disease, dementia) that may affect their ability to understand or comply with study procedures; 3. Individuals who are unable to complete the full survey during the study period.
