Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1) Before the operation, VTE (including Superficial vein thrombosis (SVT) and deep venous thrombosis) was diagnosed by imaging (ultrasound, CTPA or MRV) and laboratory tests (D-dimer). DVT and pulmonary embolism (PE); 2) Inpatients undergoing elective or emergency surgeries;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Death within 30 days after the operation due to non-VTE-related causes (such as trauma, suicide, homicide); 2) There is a serious lack of data, and key variables (such as intraoperative information, anticoagulation therapy, tumor status, etc.) cannot be obtained. 3) For patients who have undergone repeated surgeries or have been hospitalized multiple times, if the relationship between each surgery and VTE cannot be clearly distinguished, the first relevant surgery should be excluded or only included;
