Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged 18–65 years, ASA physical status I–II; 2. Body mass index (BMI) 18–28 kg/m^2; 3. Scheduled to undergo thyroid surgery under general anesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. History of glaucoma or intraocular pressure >21 mmHg; 2. Hypersensitivity to anticholinergic drugs, and/or known allergy to penehyclidine hydrochloride or any of its excipients; 3. Pre-existing acute/chronic nausea/vomiting or gastrointestinal motility disorders; 4. Mental or cognitive impairment; 5. Hepatic or renal dysfunction.
