Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.The pathological diagnosis is chronic suppurative otitis media (CSOM); 2.Age >= 18 years, unilateral disease; 3.No previous history of ear or brain injuries or surgeries; 4.Fully conscious, mentally sound, and able to communicate normally;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Under otoscopic examination, the tympanic membrane is not clearly visible due to pathology in the external ear; 2.Comorbid major systemic diseases such as malignant tumors; 3.Combined with cleft palate, facial deformity, and nasopharyngeal space-occupying lesion; 4.Concomitant cardiac, liver, and kidney dysfunction; 5.Unable to cooperate, pure-tone audiometry record incomplete;
