Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Clinically diagnosed with chronic periodontitis; 2.the subjects are of Han ethnicity and permanent residents of Wenzhou; 3.there are at least 20 remaining teeth in the oral cavity, and there is at least one pair of occluding molars in each of the left and right quadrants; 4.non - vegetarians with normal three - meal diets; 5.not pregnant and not lactating; 6.without any systemic, metabolic or oral diseases, especially excluding dental caries, diabetes, digestive diseases, Sjogren's syndrome, hypertension and heart diseases, etc. 7.without smoking or alcohol - drinking behavior; 8.no use of antibiotics and probiotics within the past six months, and no receipt of any form of oral treatment; 9.no intake of antibiotics, steroids, immunosuppressants and probiotics within the past three months.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients with poor general conditions are unable to tolerate periodontal basic treatment; 2.there are contraindications to periodontal basic treatment, laser treatment, and drug treatment.
