Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. The diagnosis was confirmed as juvenile myoclonic epilepsy, with the age range of 12 to 60 years old, and there was no restriction on gender; 2. No antiepileptic drugs had been taken previously; 3. At the time of enrollment, there were results from cranial magnetic resonance imaging, electroencephalogram, or video electroencephalogram; 4. The patient or the legal guardian could understand the study and sign the informed consent form.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Poor compliance with drug treatment (actual oral dosage is less than 80% of the prescribed dosage); 2. Comorbid with severe physical diseases such as liver, kidney, heart, or lung diseases, or severe mental disorders; 3. History of vagus nerve stimulation implantation; 4. Those who have reduced dosage or discontinued medication due to adverse drug reactions, economic factors, pregnancy, or any other personal reasons; 5. Patients or their family members are unable to cooperate in completing the information filling and follow-up surveys.
