Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Meet the diagnostic criteria of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease COPD; The partial pressure of carbon dioxide was found on examination(PaCO2)>50 mmHg, diagnosed with hypercapnia; 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I-III.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients who do not cooperate with or tolerate HFNC; 2.Skull base fracture or nasal bone fracture; 3.Age >=90 or <=18 years old; 4.Complete obstruction of the upper airway; 5.Critically ill patients who were deemed ineligible for study by anesthesiologists or respiratory physicians.
