Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >= 18 years old; 2.The experimental group all met the diagnostic criteria of septsis-3; 3.Expected to be hospitalized in the ICU for at least 24 hours; 4.Voluntarily sign the informed consent form and participate in the research.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Having a history of neurological and psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and Alzheimer's disease, or taking medication to alter one's mental state; 2.Patients who have undergone splenectomy in the past; 3.<2 consecutive measurements of acetylcholinesterase and acetylcholinesterase activity.
