Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Meets the diagnostic criteria for AECOPD as outlined in the ‘Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (2021 Revised Edition); 2. Patients receiving invasive mechanical ventilation.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Insufficient clinical and laboratory data at admission; 2. Patients and their families who refuse mechanical ventilation or abandon treatment due to personal preference; 3. Patients who cannot be weaned off the ventilator due to other diseases such as severe myocardial infarction or cerebral infarction.
