Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Age >=60 years; 2.Those who met the indications for mechanical ventilation; 3.Mallampati airway classification I-II; 4.Those who had a score of 0 on the Rating Scale of Consciousness and Sedation (RASS); 5.Those who had a Sequential Organ Function Impairment Score (SOFA) <=2; 6.Those who had a score of 8-15 on the Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Score (APACHE II); 7.Those who had obtained informed consent at the time of preoperative counseling.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with hearing impairment and cognitive dysfunction who are unable to cooperate with the training; 2. Patients using inotropic drugs; 3. Patients with respiratory and circulatory failure; 4. Patients with myasthenia gravis; 5. Patients with COPD and bronchial asthma; 6. Patients with multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS); 7. Those who are undergoing other clinical trials.
