Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. According to the diagnostic criteria for COPD in the 2024 edition of GOLD (Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease), and the condition is in an acute exacerbation phase; 2. Meets any one of the following criteria from the 2022 EXODUS (EXpert consensus On Diaphragm Ultra Sonography in the critically ill) guidelines: diaphragm mobility <2 cm, diaphragm thickness <2.2 mm, or diaphragm thickening fraction <20%; 3 Age between 40 and 80 years; 4.Be conscious, able to communicate verbally without difficulty, and willing to cooperate with the study.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Existence of contraindications for exercise: uncontrolled hypertension (>180/110 mmHg) and hypotension (<90/60 mmHg); severe cardiovascular disease; concomitant acute exacerbation of bronchial asthma, pulmonary embolism, pneumothorax, etc.; presence of conditions affecting neuromuscular diseases, osteoarthritis, etc. 2. Chest deformities, known diaphragmatic paralysis, or chronic neuromuscular diseases; 3. Poor compliance during the study, unwillingness to cooperate with relevant examinations and interventions.
