Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Pathologically confirmed nasopharyngeal carcinoma (WHO Type II-III) scheduled to receive IMRT (>= 60 Gy); 2.Aged >= 18 years, KPS score >= 80, and intact oral mucosa (WHO Grade 0); 3.Having signed the informed consent form.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Allergic to allicin or having used other mucosal protective agents within 4 weeks; 2.Active oral infection, autoimmune diseases, or severe hepatic/renal insufficiency; 3.Pregnancy, mental disorders, or a history of previous head and neck radiotherapy; 4.Patients with other oral diseases.
