Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1.Case group: (1) Basic conditions: children with attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder between the ages of 4 and 10, regardless of gender. (2) Diagnostic criteria: Diagnosis is made in strict accordance with the diagnostic criteria for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (Fifth Edition) (DSM-5) issued by the American Psychiatric Association. (3) Functional assessment: The child's guardian will use the Chinese Weiss Functional Deficit Rating Scale (WSDS-C) to comprehensively evaluate the child's mood or behavior according to the child's daily life performance. 2.Control group: (1) Source and medical treatment: Children who were treated in the Department of Child Health Care of Wuhan Children's Hospital and for the purpose of "health examination" within the same time period as the case group. (2) Health assessment: Serum levels of fat-soluble vitamins (vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E) were detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Detailed questioning of the chief complaint, a thorough review of past medical history, a systematic physical examination, and a careful review of previous visits ensure that there are no psychiatric or behavioral problems. (3) Matching conditions: The control group and the case group were accurately matched 1:1 according to age and gender.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Children with other genetic, neuropsychiatric diseases and physical organic diseases, such as cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and schizophrenia; 2. Have not taken nutritional health products containing vitamins such as VA, VD, VE and so on in the past 3 months; 3. Children suffering from malnutrition, picky eating, digestive system diseases and other diseases that may affect the absorption and metabolism of micronutrients; 4. Taking drugs that may affect the metabolism of VA, VD or VE.
