Interventions

Intervention group:On the basis of usual care (e.g., health education on diet and exercise, and encouragement to participate in physical activity and manage bodyweight), receiving a 12-month intervent
Control group:Receiving usual health care, which includes health education on diet and exercise, and encouragement to participate in physical activity and manage bodyweight.

30 Years to 70 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Permanent residents aged 30-70 years; 2.Willing to cooperate with examinations and follow-up visits; 3.Being able to read and write and is using a smartphone; 4.Body mass index >= 22.0 kg/m^2; 5.Diagnosed with prediabetes: glycosylated hemoglobin: 5.7% -6.4% and fasting blood glucose<7.0 mmol/L.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Diagnosed with diabetes or those achieving good glycemic control (HbA1c<6.5%) with pharmacotherapy; 2.With unstable conditions such as severe cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases, chronic renal failure, heart failure, or malignant tumors; 3.Pregnant women; 4.Individuals taking metformin, acarbose, or in participation in medical/dietary weight-loss programs; 5.Mental problems (including Alzheimer's disease); 6.Having major surgeries, fractures in recent 3-6 months, or are unable to participate in physical activity.
