Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age>=60 years old; 2. The patient has the first onset of the disease, meets the diagnostic criteria for stroke in the World Health Organization (WHO) or the Chinese Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Acute Ischemic Stroke (2022 Edition), and is confirmed to be ischemic stroke by head CT or MRI examination; 3. The course of the disease is >=2 weeks, and the condition is stable; 4. The patient has normal cognition, and the Mini-Task Mental State Examination (MMSE) score is >=20 points; 5. Ability to stand up with no or little assistance and cooperate with all examiners.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe liver and kidney failure, malignant tumors (advanced), severe infections, and other diseases that may significantly affect muscle metabolism and systemic nutritional status. 2. Previous primary neuromuscular diseases such as congenital myopathy, myasthenia gravis, and polymyositis. 3. Muscle mass assessment cannot be performed due to severe limb deformity, extensive skin damage, burns, etc.; Due to head trauma, skull defects, wearing a pacemaker, etc., it is impossible to complete the cortical oxygen hemoglobin determination of near-infrared brain function imaging. 4. Severe malnutrition (such as serum albumin <25g/L), hyperthyroidism, etc., which may independently affect muscle mass; or uncontrolled complications such as status epilepticus and severe cerebral edema after stroke.
