Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients aged over 18 years. 2.American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status classification I to II. 3.Patients with osteoarthritis scheduled for joint replacement surgery. 4.Patients with a score greater than 8 on the 17-item Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17).

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.The patient has comorbidities such as hypertension, coronary heart disease, or cerebral infarction. 2.The patient has a history of psychiatric disorders other than depression, such as schizophrenia or Alzheimer's disease. 3.The patient has recently received treatment with ketamine or esketamine. 4.The patient is unable to cooperate with the administration of the Hamilton Depression Rating Scale (HAMD-17). 5.The patient refuses to undergo treatment with esketamine.
