Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Surgical Procedure All patients underwent minimally invasive video-assisted thoracic surgery (VATS); 2.Age Requirement >=65 years old; 3.Diabetes Status Previously diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) . Recent hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c) <=9%; 4.ASA (American Society of Anesthesiologists) class II-III; 5.White blood cell count (WBC)/C-reactive protein (CRP)/Procalcitonin (PCT)All infection markers within normal ranges,No documented fever;

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.BMI >= 28 kg/m^2; 2.AST or ALT > 3× upper limit of normal (ULN),Total bilirubin (TBIL) > 2× ULN; 3.(eGFR) <= 45 mL/min/1.73m² (or CrCl <= 45 mL/min); 4.Preoperative fever,Severe COPD (GOLD stage III-IV or FEV1 < 50% predicted); 5.Active cerebrovascular disease (e.g., recent stroke or TIA) Coronary artery disease (CAD) with: Unstable angina Recent myocardial infarction (within 6 months) Severe heart failure (NYHA class III-IV);
