Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Age >= 60 years old; 2. Undergo knee or hip replacement surgery and receive general anesthesia. 3. Classified as ASA I-III grades; 4. According to the New York Heart Association's cardiac function classification (NYHA) at grade II or III functional status;
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Severe dysfunction of the heart, lungs, liver or kidneys; 2. Having a history of mental illness or long-term use of psychiatric drugs (for treating conditions such as dementia or schizophrenia, etc.); 3. Long-term use of pain-relieving drugs; 4. Positive result of the preoperative confusion assessment method (CAM) examination; 5. The preoperative Simple Mental State Questionnaire (SPMSQ) score was = 8 points, and there was severe cognitive dysfunction (MMSE score < 27); 6. Diabetes with severe complications (diabetic ketoacidosis, hyperosmolar coma, various infections, macrovascular diseases, diabetic nephropathy); 7. Serious infection; 8. Patients who cannot communicate through language and also fail to complete cognitive function tests;
