40 Years to 76 Years

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients with primary angle-closure glaucoma (acute or chronic) without other ocular diseases (cataracts allowed), and no history of ocular trauma/surgery. 2. Negative preoperative tests for infectious diseases, and no history of diabetes, immunological diseases, or severe cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, or renal dysfunction. 3. Aged 40–76 years. 4. Only East Asian participants to avoid craniofacial differences.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of ophthalmic surgery, secondary glaucoma, uveitis, severe ocular diseases, malignancies, acute ocular inflammation, autoimmune diseases, ocular trauma, or recurrent pterygium. 2. Use of hormones or immunosuppressants within the past 3 months.
