Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1.Patients diagnosed with periodontitis based on the following conditions according to the 2018 criteria: 1) Loss of adjacent surface attachment was detected in two non-adjacent teeth (attachment loss, AL); 2) 3 mm of AL was detected on the buccal or lingual side of 2 teeth, with periodontal bag depth (probing depth, PD)>= 3mm. Non-periodontitis-caused AL should be excluded. 2.Additionally, a reassessment at 4 to 6 weeks after basic periodontal treatment revealed at least two nonadjacent PD >=4 mm and AL >=4mm with probing hemorrhage in the left and right quadrants of the mouth. 3. The age range of patients was >=25 years and <=60years.

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria: 1.Systemic diseases (such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, etc.) that affect the progression or efficacy of periodontitis; 2.
