Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Inclusion criteria: Elderly patients with osteoporosis (over 70 years old, age may be relaxed if they are menopausal women); 1. Bone density testing (gold standard) Testing method: Dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA) is used to measure the bone density (BMD) of the lumbar spine (L1-L4), femoral neck, or total hip. Diagnostic threshold (based on T-value): T-value = -1.0: Normal bone density. The definition of T-value is the standard deviation (SD) value compared to the average bone density of healthy young adults. 2. History of fragility fractures: If a patient experiences a low-energy traumatic fracture (such as hip, vertebral, or distal radius fracture after a fall), even if the bone density has not reached the osteoporosis threshold (T value <= -2.5), it can be directly diagnosed as "severe osteoporosis".

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Chronic diseases and disorders involving important organs (heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, brain); 2. severe metabolic diseases including diabetes, hypoparathyroidism, hyperparathyroidism; 3. other bone diseases including Paget's disease, osteogenesis imperfecta; 4. digestive system diseases such as chronic diarrhea, ulcerative colitis or other chronic diseases causing impaired nutrient absorption; 5. long-term use of drugs that affect bone metabolism such as corticosteroids, anticonvulsants, estrogens, thyroid hormones; 6. women with bilateral oophorectomy. 7. To reduce the influence of other diseases on the number of blood monocytes and gene (protein) expression, the following factors will be excluded from interference: autoimmune or autoimmune-related diseases, immunodeficiency disorders, malignant lesions of blood and lymph, other diseases such as viral infections, etc.
